Bureau Chief Jobs in Rhode Island

A Bureau Chief in the law enforcement industry oversees the operations of a specific department or bureau within a law enforcement agency. They are responsible for the administration, planning, and direction of their department's activities. Depending upon the specific requirements of an agency, certification from the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy or similar may be required. Experience ranks high for this role; therefore potential candidates would have held roles such as Police Officer, Sergeant, and Lieutenant before stepping into the role of a Bureau Chief.
