We are currently seeking to employ Correctional Officers for our facility in Mountain City, TN. We have openings for persons with and without correctional experience. ? The starting pay for a Correctional Officer 1 is $3710 per month ($44,520 annually) and someone with one year of prior adult correctional or law enforcement experience start at Correctional Officer 2 pay of $3896 per month ($46,752 annually). ? There is also a $5,000 sign on bonus that is paid out in 3 installments over 18 months of employment. ? The first 2 installments of $1,000 (after 1 month) and $1,500 (after 6 months) will be paid during your first 6 full calendar months of employment and completion of Basic Correctional Officer training. ? The final installment of $2500 will be paid after 18 full months of employment. Northeast currently houses approximately 1358 offenders with custody levels from close security to minimum security trustee. We offer rehabilitation and mental health services, as well as several educational opportunities for the offenders.
